Englefield Lodge is self contained and set in the grounds of Englefield House, located in the historic village of Hatfield Heath. We welcome children over the age of ten but unfortunately cannot accommodate pets as we have chickens and cats wandering the grounds.

The village offers three local pubs serving lunch and evening meals. Also there are Indian, Chinese, Thai, fish and chip take away restaurants, a village tea room as well as a village Co-op and post office for your convenience -- all within fifteen minutes' walk of the property and overlooking the village green.

B&B Accommodation:

Single, twin and double rooms all en–suite shower rooms. Hospitality trays, television and alarm clock. Towels are changed daily and bedding weekly if weeks stay is required. There is a fully equipped “help yourself” breakfast room with toast, cereals, preserves, fruits, yoghurts and croissants. Evening meals can be taken at any of the local pubs or restaurants.Take away meals can be eaten in the breakfast room where plates and cutlery are supplied.

The Lodge is a non smoking building but there is a smoking area set aside at the front.

Parking:

There is parking facilities within the property for staying guests only. We cannot accommodate large commercial vehicles or camper vans. Vehicles and property are left at own risk.
